Data deletion
Two levels: disconnect one social account, or delete your whole ManyHandles account with everything in it.
Disconnect one account
- In ManyHandles open Accounts, choose the account, then Manage → Disconnect.
- Its access token is deleted from our database at that moment and we stop acting for that account. For Google (YouTube) and TikTok we also tell the platform to cancel the grant; Instagram, Facebook and Threads offer no such call, so remove the app there yourself if you want the platform side gone too.
- The account's name stays with its past posts, numbers and comments so your history still makes sense. Delete the whole workspace (below) to remove those too.
- You can also remove ManyHandles at the platform: Google security settings (YouTube), Meta "Apps and websites" (Instagram, Facebook, Threads), or TikTok "Manage app permissions".
Delete everything
In ManyHandles open your profile menu → Settings → Delete my account. You can download a copy of your data on the same page first. Deleting removes, immediately:
- your user account, sessions and sign-in details;
- your workspace, its members and invitations;
- every connected social account and every token;
- all uploaded media, pieces, scheduled and published posts;
- all stored numbers, comments and trackable links.
You receive a confirmation by email. Content already published to a platform stays on that platform; delete it there. Nightly backups that still contain your data expire within 14 days.
Can't sign in? Email privacy@manyhandles.com from the address on your account and we do it by hand within 30 days.
Requests from a platform
If you removed ManyHandles from your Instagram, Facebook or Threads settings and Meta sent us a deletion request on your behalf, we handle it exactly as above. Write to privacy@manyhandles.com if you want a confirmation.
